The 8th edition of Sadya, a fund raiser in aid of Vidya Sagar, the city-based organisation that works with people with cerebral palsy, autism and mental disabilities concluded on February 8, 2009. This year the 2-day event had 8 teams – Ajuba Solutions, CAMS, Datamark Prodapt, Grundfos Pumps India, IVRCL, Odyssey, Thinksoft Global Solutions and Vestas Wind Technology – participate in a range of activities.

From rappelling down a 50-foot wall, climbing a wall with the help of grips embedded in the wall, mastering a dynamically changing obstacle course, testing their reflexes on the shooting range, diving with scuba gear, doing the caterpillar walk, to pitching tents blind-folded, the event challenged the teams to push themselves and work together as a unit.

Datamark Prodapt emerged victorious and lifted the Vidya Sagar Adventure trophy, while Ajuba Solutions finished second and Thinksoft Global Solutions in third place. There were more trophies that were won – check out Trophies for details

Chinmayi K Sripada was the as chief guest and gave away trophies. The enthusiasm and commitment shown by participating teams was fantastic and the money raised makes a huge difference to the Vidya Sagar.
