Winners of Sadya 2008 - Orchid
Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals with the trophy
SADYA 08, the annual inter-corporate adventure event that raises
funds in support of the projects of Vidya Sagar (a voluntary
organization involved in special education and rehabilitation
of people with multiple disabilities) was held on
2nd and 3rd Feb at the Adventure Zone
Training Camp.
The
7th edition
of Sadya had
8
participating
Corporate teams from Chennai.
Organized by Adventure Zone (a Chennai-based outbound
HR training company) and the 'Friends of Vidya Sagar' (a group
of friends from different professions), the event had
participants rock climbing, rappelling, pitching tents
blind-folded, shooting, scuba diving,
Pythagoras, Caterpillar race, etc.
Orchid
Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals walked
away with the Vidya Sagar Inter-corporate trophy. The first three
Runners-Up were Vestas Wind Technology India Pvt Ltd, Ajuba Solutions and
Thinksoft Global Solutions.

The event could not have
been a success if it was not for the sponsorswho contributed in cash
and kind to take care of the running of the event. This
ensured that the Rs
3
lakh paid by the participating companies
is given entirely to Vidya Sagar to fund its projects.
